Psychosocial Edge Tip #02
The Differences between a Psychological Edge and a Psychosocial Edge
While developing a psychological edge for a competitive advantage is important, there is more value in developing a psychosocial edge.
Psychology focuses on the individual and the inner workings of the individual. Even social psychology is a focus on how the individual operates in a group or social setting.
A psychosocial focus includes not only the individual, but also the interface between the individual and the social environments in which they operate — family, workplace, community and society. People don’t exist in isolation or in a social vacuum. People exist in a dynamic interaction with their environments — the psychosocial view.
